Lisa Snowdon, proving once and for all that the UK is not all bland boiled beef and watery mashed potatoes. I give her my Royal Seal of Approval. Plus, it helps that her name is great for easy puns, i.e., "I'd love to put on my mittens and go roll around in that Snowdon."

Speaking of forces of nature,
Cyclone Larry is kicking the crap out of Australia. Sure, Larry isn't a very intimidating name, but this guy packed winds of 125mph at landfall and is the strongest they've seen down under
since 1931. Of course, I'm sure many will say this has absolutely NOTHING to do with the worldwide rise in ocean temperatures, and that if we close our eyes and hold our breath, climate change will just go away. To them, I just say this:
come on.
